My name is Tom Krause. I’m a faux artist interested in working as a sub
contractor for Interior Designers in eastern PA
and central NJ, in the realm of
high end Decorative Finishes.
I’m capable of producing all the traditional faux finishes like color washing, striping, ragging, sponging, etc.
I’m capable also of the more technical and artisan levels of faux production.
For example: venetian plastering, marbleizing,
antiquing, wood graining,
textured finishes, special
effects terra cotta or blocking, metallic effects, and whatever the imagination
can create.
I’m capable also of wood finishing, i.e:
1. Stain and finish raw wood on location.
2. Touch up scratched or gouged wood and furniture on location.
3. Wood Graining- duplicate wood grain on artificial substrates.
4. Modify the color of existing wood. Done on location.
I am a Limited Liability Company, single member. I carry general liability insurance and workman’s comp. For the most part I work alone, i.e., I do not have a crew working for me. I commute to all my work destinations which are within 60 - 70 miles of my Belvidere office. From time to time I will travel further. I have tons of referrals.
